Alicha Kimem – Spice Blend

[አልጫ ቅመም] A mild aromatic blend designed for turmeric-based sauces, vegetable stews, seafood, and light meat dishes. Carefully balanced to enhance flavor without heat, allowing turmeric and herbs to shine.

Makulaya – Sauté Spice

[ማቁላያ] A flavorful blend of sun-dried shallots and lightly roasted Abish (fenugreek). Traditionally used to sauté and caramelize onions, forming a rich base for sauces and stews.

Matafetcha – All Purpose Spice

[ማጣፈጫ] A versatile everyday spice used to enhance and balance flavor and aroma. A staple in Ethiopian kitchens and a traditional gift symbolizing good cooking and hospitality.

Mekelesha – Finishing Spice

[መከለሻ] A handcrafted finishing spice sprinkled at the final stage of cooking. It intensifies aroma and completes stews with a distinctive Ethiopian flavor.

Manteria – Butter Seasoning

[ማንጠሪያ] A traditional blend used to flavor clarified butter and cooking oil. Made from aromatic spices and herbs including sacred basil, grains of paradise, cardamom, bishop’s seed, and kosseret. Essential for Ethiopian sauces and stews.
