is layered with an array of sun-dried organic herbs and aromatic spices, it is the quintessential flavor enhancer.  Our Berbere grows in the famous Mareko. region.  We use time tested traditional spice blending recipes.

Mitmita Chili Pepper Blend is a spicy mixture that includes the most potent of Ethiopian chili peppers, fresh ground cardamom, kosseret and indigenous herbs and spices. Used as a condiment for sauces, grilled meats

[ሚጥሚጣ]    

Whole birds eye pepper a variety from the species Capsicum annuum, is commonly cultivated in Ethiopia . It is the most potent and is used as condiment. With aromatic spices it is the singular most popular chil pepper after Berbere.

The diverse climatic conditions of Ethiopia are suitable for the production of different type of red peppers in different areas of the Country. Red Peppers are widely cultivated in Mareko (SNNPR), Alaba (SNNPR), Todalle (Jima Route), Gojam and Gonder .

[አፍርንጅ]   

The pepper seeds carefully selected and sun-dried are blended with Abish (Ethiopian Fenugreek), Tena Adam ( Ethiopian Rue Berries), and Bessobela (Sacred Basil). A fine mild flavor for fish fry or meat rub with subtle flavor.
